For the first time in its 30-year existence, the 2021 Lexus ES came available with all-wheel drive. Noteworthy for the brand, sure. But all-wheel drive is hardly a mind-blowing feature for car buyers. From snow and rain to dirt roads and potholes, the auto industry has demonstrated all-wheel drive in every way imaginable. Almost.

We took the most iconic symbol of slipperiness, the banana, and used it as an eye-catching visual metaphor to demonstrate the new AWD capabilities of the Lexus ES. With a mix of over 3,000 practical banana peels and CGI bananas, as Gwen Stefani might say, “this shit was indeed bananas.”
