Over the course of making this film, we met so many families struggling to afford their cannabis oil. A few even had to stop use altogether due to the burden of the cost being too great.

Because cannabis remains federally illegal and insurance companies are unable to cover the cost of any medical cannabis, we used the film to promote awareness and raise donations for financially insecure patients. To date, the film has successfully raised ten thousand dollars and provided cannabis oil to a handful of families in Texas.
